There are a number of organisations that offer help and support to those with mental health problems – if this is you, then please get in touch. Here are a selection of links that may be of help:
CALM , the Campaign Against Living Miserably, is an award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide in the UK. CALM offers a free, confidential helpline every day of the week.

Mind , provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

MHF , the Mental Health Foundation, help people to survive, recover from and prevent mental health problems. They do this by:
- carrying out research
- developing practical solutions for better mental health services
- campaigning to reduce stigma and discrimination
SANE is a UK-wide charity working to improve quality of life for people affected by mental illness. SANE has three main objectives:
- to raise awareness and combat stigma
- to provide care and emotional support
- to initiate research
